Wikipedia Page
For this assignment I have decided to change the wikipedia page about President Bush. I choose to change the page about Bush because I want to see if I change information about him, will the people of Wikipedia quickly change the information back or not. I also decided to put false information on the page to see what the editors will do about this false information. Will I be able to post it or not?
I added to the page the following three "facts."
President Bush wears a hair piece.
He practices speaking every morning.
His only meal that he eats is dinner.
I went onto the website and easily posted these "facts" onto the Bush page and had no problems. Anyone can create an account and edit any articles whether the information is correct or not. once someone creates an account,you can change the article however you feel is appropriate. Many people find that the site is unreliable because of the fact that anyone can access the site so easily.
